Brad Womack Fan Mail - "Why?"

Hi Brad,

I had never watched "The Bachelor " before last season when Andy Baldwin was the bachelor trying to find a wife. I guess I watched then because like Andy I had been in the military (although YEARS ago). I loved the show and felt Tessa was a great choice. At that time I questioned why such an interesting man would be involved in a program of this sort.

Then, this year I watch as you greeted the 25 gals. Although I still find the show very addictive, again I wonder why a man of your caliber would need to go on TV to find his special someone. Although good TV, isn't it in a way...degrading? A man with your good looks, superb body, excellent credentials...plus a millionaire...on TV to find the girl of his dreams? I just don't understand your reasoning. Is this all a houx?

I am old enough to be your mother (going to be 60 in December). I hope you did find love and a wife and I'll keep watching...but, my advice, would probably have been that you go to church and other places like that before resorting to TV to find a mate.

Sincerely,
Betty Lou H.
